Sligo Business Women took over City Hall for their lunchtime meeting on International Women’s Day 2023. Organised By Sligo Women in Business Network, the event gathered members from all over Sligo to celebrate the economic, social and professional achievements of members. Discussions looked at acknowledging your professional and personal work experiences, and making the transition from sole trader to fulltime employer. Underpinning the business and economics aspects the work of members, it was also noted that businesses and budding businesses in the Chamber, as part of their management ethos, create a thriving workplace for themselves and their employees, reflecting the values of International Women’s Day.
