Experience, Exposure and Education: Panel Discussion / Q & A
Special panel guests Dr. Orla Flynn, President of the Atlantic Technological University and Evelyn O’Toole, CEO of Complete Laboratory Solutions will talk about their career paths. The discussion will focus on three different ways of learning: Experience, Exposure, Education. Each of us has used these elements as we learn how to operate in business. We are going to tease out how, as a network, our members utilise different ways of learning and what works best in different contexts and structures. Whether you are a learner by experience, by education or by observing, come along and listen to or take part in the discussion.
Dr Orla Flynn is the President of ATU and was appointed in April 2022. Prior to this, she was president of the former GMIT since March 2020, With 20 years’ experience in education management roles . Dr Flynn holds undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Mathematical Physics and Computer Science from University College Cork, an MA in Management in Education from WIT, and a PhD from the University of Limerick.

Evelyn O’Toole is the Founder & CEO of Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) and Industry EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ for 2017. Evelyn is apart of the ATU Sligo Alumni having completed her diploma in Pollution assessment and control.
