Thank you Sligo Women in Business for turning out in force to our Summer Social last night, Tuesday 29 August. A big welcome to the women, at all stages of business and career, who joined us for the first time.
For once, we had no formal plan for the evening. It’s a testament to our members that lots of chat, networking and supportive business exchanges just happened naturally. This is how true connections are made. The more meetings each member attends, the more they get to know each other and identify how to give and ask for support. This could be anything from sharing advice and experience, buying products or services, or maybe just being a support listening ear.
The Airport Café and food by Ashley, contributed to this in a big way (and we got to see the meeting rooms available to rent at Sligo Airport, with their stunning light and views).
As ever, there was lots of signposting between members around supports, services and advice available to SWIBN members. Keep checking Sligo LEO for a list of available supports. Shona Heffernan, Enterprise officer at LEO Sligo, looks after the needs of SWIBN members.
